So I wanted to give a little gift to a friend, and I really wanted to try hydro-dip painting.
Which by the way is NOT as easy as all the youtube videos.
I decided to bake the cups... Which stinks to no end. BUT the colors really pop and the paint gets a hard shell and a glossy sheen. USE darker colors for a better effect.
I only did the front of her cup with her name.
I cut the names on my cutter machine.
This one is for my Daughter in Law
I did the front with their names and the back of them with something fun.
This says : Goals today
Keep the Tiny Humans alive.
This is for my youngest daughter
I did this design... I love it but have been told it is hard to read/ understand.
Just a Kansas girl in a Texas world.
This one was for my Oldest daughter.
Sometimes when I open my mouth my mother comes out.
What I learned. CLEAN the water very well if dipping more than one object. Even the sides of the container. Use way to much paint. Drag the dragging device catching all the clumps and remove them, do not leave them in the water. Push the cup slowly into the water gathering the paint. I am going to play again. I will post photos as I do that one.
