I found this lamp & shade at home depot for $25 (close out) all I did was get a Houston map
and go nuts with my circle punch. The base of the lamp is black, nice shape it just
doesn't show up in this photo very well.
Then I glued the circles directly to the lampshade. (again with the wood glue -all I had in the house)
I saw this idea on Etsy with the lamp for $225. Way Way out of my budget.
Not sure how they got the circles to stay so unattached on the ends.
As you can see I couldn't get them to do that. (I may have used to much glue,
I do have that problem) I am happy with the results.
My dining room table is the "catch" all for the lake house projects, we go every weekend
and work on the house. I place the "weeks" projects on the table so I don't forget to load
them up. The photo really doesn't do it justice, it turned out very nice.
Best part is I have a container (I keep the chinese food containers for crafts, remember
I am cheap) full of circes. I have no idea what I am going to do with them, but I will
think of something, trust me.
Happy Crafts.
Happy Crafts.
